Das Internationale Trickfilm Festival Stuttgart zog 24 MD Studis für 4 Tage in den Süden Deutschlands. In den Lang- und Kurzfilmen, die es hier zu sehen gibt, werden diverse Emotionen durch die Kunst der Animation ausgelöst und inspirieren gleichzeitig die Studierenden zu eigenen Filmen.

Hier kommt das erste Projekt, welches im Rahmen unserer diesjährigen Ausstellung „Reflexionen“ einen der beiden Ostfalia Medienpreis Salzgitter in der Kategorie Master gewonnen hat. Herzlichen Glückwunsch nochmal an Danny Seggelke 🥳
Näheres zu seiner Arbeit könnt ihr hier nachlesen:
„Im Rahmen der Masterarbeit wurde ein kurzer 3D Animationsfilm erschaffen, welcher sich mit den möglichen Überforderungen von Autist*innen im Alltag beschäftigt. Die Geschichte basiert auf einer persönlichen Erfahrung und wurde stilistisch übertrieben, um für ein neurotypisches Publikum darstellen zu können, welche kleinen Dinge zu Hürden werden und was sie mit einem innerlich anstellen können.
Der Kurzfilm steht im Kontext einer fiktiven Animationsserie, für die auch ein kurzes Konzept angelegt wurde. In ihr geht es um drei Teenager (m, w, nb), die in ihrer Schule und ihrem sehr konservativen, sturen Dorf Änderungen anstoßen wollen, die den Alltag für alle inklusiver gestalten können.
Für den Film und das Konzept wurde mit anderen Autist*innen zusammengearbeitet, um glaubwürdige Charaktere und eine Story zu erschaffen, die versucht, zu repräsentieren und nicht zu stigmatisieren.“
