📣 Call for gardeners: All are welcome and wanted at the historic and beautiful Castro Adobe State Historic Park. Each week on Tuesday mornings at 10 a.m., the garden volunteers perform regular maintenance and tend to plants on the grounds of the historic state park.

Learn about the story of Big Basin Redwoods State Park — past, present and future — on a 1.5-hour walking tour of the guardian old-growth redwoods. Visitors will wander through the canopy of redwood trees 🌲 on a flat trail that's accessible for all ages. The tour starts at 11:30 a.m. this Saturday (May 16) from the temporary Visitor Center.

Join a State Park Docent for a moderate 2-mile hike along the Gray Whale Cove Trail at Montara State Beach at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 9. 🥾 🚶♀️➡️This guided hike shows visitors sweeping views of the coast as well as pieces of history, including bunkers left over from World War II and signs of the Ocean Shore Railroad.
