From Pymmes Park Wetlands to Pymmes Pond. Some beautiful sights of a Moorhen next to Wetlands Cell 3 (before it was burnt), a couple Egyptian Geese and a female Mallard duck and her 2 ducklings. #pymmespark
It will have been almost a year since this Pymmes Pond dried up completely because of the terrible drought that occurred we warned everyone we could who could have helped. We are now in the position of having to put in place a way to insure the pond doesn’t dry up again. So we anxiously await a borehole and pump to be installed that will refill the pond before it dries up again. Then towards the end of the year have it desilted and restored. So bear with us and enjoy the sight of baby birds with their mama. #pymmespark #londonpark #waterfowl #waterbirds
