Happy New Year’s Eve! 💫
Today is the last day of our #SaveTetonPassTrail community challenge and as we wrap up the year, we’re taking a moment to reflect on everything we’ve accomplished together: every community gathering, every donation, every bit of support. We’re so grateful to both Teton communities and look forward to working together next year to keep improving our beautiful region.
Thank you for being part of the journey! You can still show your support by spreading the word and donating at tetonpass.org.
And cheers to 2026! 🥂 Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful sendoff for 2025 and an exciting start to the year ahead.
Teton communities, THANK YOU for showing up for our #SaveTetonPassTrail challenge, but it’s not over yet!
Completing the trail to Coal Creek will enhance quality of life, connect communities to public land, and spur economic development opportunities along the unique and diverse 180-mile trail.
Today and tomorrow, you can still make donations at tetonpass.org. Let’s finish strong and keep working together to meet our goal!
The snow arrived last night and we are packing it down today (Friday) and Saturday. We are planning to open for skiing on Sunday morning at 9am.
We ask that you please stay off the trails until then because they are very soft and shallow. Any ski track or footprint at this point will go to the ground and keep the base from solidifying. Even though the photo looks tempting, please wait for the sake of our trail!
We are excited to see you Sunday morning!
Stay tuned for more updates!
One month to go! Share this post and help us spread the word about #SaveTetonPassTrail as we work towards raising the final $5M to connect Teton Valley and Jackson Hole. Donate and read more about our community challenge at tetonpass.org
🚜Vegetation clearing will take place along WYO 390 (Village Road) beginning Thursday, December 4, to help increase driver visibility and safety, and decrease vehicle-wildlife collisions.
🚴🏻♀️The pathway along 390 will be closed until work is completed. Work is scheduled to last approximately 4 days.
🙏Thank you to Aardvark Excavation, Feuz Excavation, VH Builders, and Western States Cat Rental, who have generously offered to donate time, equipment and materials to clear vegetation at no cost.

WY22 on the west of Teton Pass is a dangerous section of road for bikers, pedestrians and skiers. Completing Teton Pass Trail will provide our community a safer, scenic way to move through the Tetons during the winter.
Huge thanks to @cyclingwest for featuring our #SaveTetonPassTrail campaign’s goals and accomplishments so far.
Check out the link in our Story Highlights to read the full story and visit tetonpass.org to donate and learn more about our mission. Join us in honoring the past while building for the future!
With a continuous pathway, the Teton Pass Trail will safely connect two valleys that share one workforce, one landscape and one community. This trail will:
⚠️Add 3.6 new miles of safe, separated, non-motorized pathway along a dangerous section of WY Highway 22
🏞️Connect major trailheads at Trail Creek and Coal Creek
🥾Provide year-round access and recreation on public lands
🦬Link to the Greater Yellowstone Trail, a 180-mile regional trail, originating in West Yellowstone
Help us #SaveTetonPassTrail by spreading the word and making a donation towards our $5 million fundraising goal at tetonpass.org.
Our pals at @friendsofpathways know the many benefits of a well-connected system of trails. 🚲
By raising money to fund the next phase of the Teton Pass Trail, our campaign aims to complete a cross-state corridor for walkers, runners, mountain bikers, and cyclists—connecting people, places, and public lands.
The trail also offers a safer alternative to the Teton Pass Highway 22 for non-drivers while promoting public land access, active lifestyles, and economic vitality. We are working to connect our communities in a way that honors history and shapes the future.
