BROCKWELL BARK IS BACK 🐶🐾// After 10 years, @brockwell_bark is returns to Brockwell Park. On Monday, 4th May you can join the free, community dog show for the whole afternoon- and you’re encouraged to bring your own dogs, of course. The fest will feature local traders, food and drink for humans and pet-friendly stalls for the pups, and will see the return of the beloved Lambeth Country Show’s Vegetable Sculpture Competition! 🥕🌽 The dog show itself features multiple categories, including Happiest Tail, Village Veterans, two rounds of fancy dress and Little Lead Legends (still taking registrations!) ⭐️It’s totally free to attend, but if you’d like to enter your pup into a category, the fee is £5 for each category.⭐️ The Brockwell Bark judges have been announced, including: Marc Thompson @marct_01 , Elaine the Flower Lady, and Baxter, aged 9. The fest starts from 12:30, with category judging beginning at 2pm. BAT SURVEY SATURDAY 18 APRIL 📍Join us for a bat survey round Brockwell Park starting at 8:15pm, finishing 9:45pm. 🦇Come and find out what bats we have in the park, where they live and what they do, including how to use bat detectors. 🚶🏽‍♂️The walk will start at 8:15pm beside the Lido Car Park on Dulwich Road. 🔦Wear sensible outdoor clothing and footwear for the weather - bring a torch if you have one: all other equipment provided. ⬆️ Hit the volunteer with us link in our bio to sign up, places are limited

FOR THE LOVE OF DOGS 🐶🐾 // @brockwell_bark is arriving to South London with a community dog show this Early May Bank Holiday, bringing together local dog lovers determined to reignite the community dog show tradition all while raising money for a good cause. Held on the lawn of the historic Brockwell Hall, expect these pups to be strutting their stuff in various award categories such as Happiest Tail, Village Veterans and the Rescue Runway among others- with the Best in Show-Biz as the final Grand Pawformance. ⭐️Brockwell Bark is free to attend, while the dogs can be entered into the competition categories for £5 per entry ⭐️ All proceeds will go towards supporting Blue Cross Victoria. 🔗Link in @brockwell_bark bio for more information and entries, sign-ups open now! 📍Brockwell Hall, Brockwell Park 📆 Early May Bank Holiday Monday, 4th May

🍃 Friends of Brockwell Park dropped by to see the new exhibit at @brockwellhallcommunity last weekend. ⚽️ It celebrates the 20th anniversary of the St Matthews Project, a grassroots initiative, providing support to young people in Tulse Hill and South Brixton since 2004. 🌳 What started off as a summer holiday football camp all those years ago has become so much more, to so many people. ⭐️ Congrats to @smpbrixton , here’s to many more years! ⚽️
