from them, this dĂa de muertas is about “honoring the lives of women, children, and gender-expansive people we have lost at the hands of a murderous immigration system: whether on their journey north, in detention, or after deportation”
they will be sharing petitions to release people, including children, held in detention. follow their work!!
Albania 2022 sept/oct ish just about 3 years ago.
here you’ll find - a 28th bday, my first and only mural (the hostel owners reallyyyy made it known not their favorite), some joy in the albanian alps (hiking from Valbone to Theth alone, and then with: a mother and son (her first hike), a shepherd and his sheep, a hiking crew to then bonfire with under the stars 🌟)
some offscreen gossip, dramatic neck bee sting, sweetness, wild dog packs, cappuccinos, (one of) greatest clothing markets in the world (origin of my prized red hoodie), tearful bike ride, albanian techno, albanian oktoberfest, beautiful veg market
