A year ago, while visiting Australia, I went solo raving at this ukg event. A local guy named Jarrad saw me dancing alone and invited me to join his group. I hesitated for a sec, but then decided to join them. Best decision I couldâve made, it was a blast.
After the event we exchanged socials, only to realize weâd been mutuals online for years. That local guy was @jadlad
What a small world. (We live on opposite sides of the globe.)
I was invited to ride with the Friendly crew the next day. I was completely unprepared: just running shoes and no scooter, but Jarrad let me use his whip. I got to ride spots I used to drool over as a kid watching Australian scooter videos, and even managed to get a clip. A truly dreamlike day. One of my best memories ever.
â¨Forever grateful to Jarrad and the Friendly crew - such friendly guys.
