Moving to Japan in the beginning of the 90s and finding my way into the entertainment industry in Japan was never a thought in my mind when I got there and it was the most fun and interesting times of my life. I try to explain it to my son but he doesn’t seem interested 😂

I’ve had a moment in time whereas a mom I “thought” I had to dress a certain way for the family or the school or in general. I’m glad I got myself out of it. Not letting anyones judgement change what I am wearing anymore! Just me dressing for myself and no one else.
母親になってから、家族のために、学校のために、あるいは周りの目を気にして、「こういうふうに着なければいけない」と思い込んでいた時期がありました。そこから抜け出せたことを、今は本当によかったと思っています。もう誰の評価や判断にも、自分の着るものを左右させません。これからは、ただ自分のためだけに、自分らしく服を選んでいきます。

It felt really special seeing familiar brands that we carry and running into our customers outside the shop.
