We’ve all watched injustice unfold around us: systems that were supposed to protect instead silence, ignore, or destroy. It’s something you feel, first as a quiet churn in your gut, and then, eventually, as a refusal to stay quiet. That refusal is the backbone of this song. Many thanks for the huge support, and we cannot wait for what’s up ahead ♥️

The next several months are being dedicated to releasing the EP we spent a year working on so carefully. Can’t wait for the world to hear this body of work 🤘
Animus explores the reality of addiction.
The internal struggle and self loathing that comes with failing yourself time and time again.
As the lyrics of the chorus go:
“And now you look unwell, but did you create this hell?
And do you feel this animus towards yourself?”
The character in this music video that plays the addict - is struggling on his path to recovery and is seen battling his craving. He’s trying desperately to talk himself off the ledge but eventually slips back into the habit.
We wanted to tie in the concept of the goddess Kaali who is the goddess of destruction and illustrate her passion and compassion for this man. She is seen trying to destroy his desire to fall off the wagon but feels a deep sense of anger and sadness when he fails himself yet again.
