The charcoal silhouette of the Vienna emulates the lines in the fabric, creating a harmonious blend between the two designs. Tom’s work is all so beautiful and unique, and his meticulous attention to detail brings these clean, mature, and elegant silhouettes to life, transforming them into pieces of art or sculpture for you to use as furniture to enjoy in your home.

I hand painted an ‘Olepangi’ inspired ceiling mural during my residency in the main bedroom of the Little Moon House at @olepangifarm ‘s beautiful new Matembezi House.
One morning, after seeing the garden sketches I’d been working on, Elizabeth, Olepangi’s owner, asked if I’d bring a similar spirit to a bedroom ceiling, using words like emanate, crawl, reach, and grow as inspiration. After some practice and neck stretches I began. Five days later, the mural was complete. And yes… I absolutely channelled my inner Michelangelo, thinking of his four + years on the Sistine Chapel and the injuries he endured along the way.
I’m also so sad to say that my six weeks as the Artist-in-Residence at Olepangi Farm, Kenya has come to an end. It has been unbelievably inspiring, a true privilege to be surrounded by the beauty & wild magic of the place. I’ve met so many wonderful people, and I’m missing it all so much already. Until next time.
