My first album E C H O is now part of this world! At the beginning, I just had a couple of tracks I believed would be cool to release as an EP. But because they were mainly with electric guitar I wasn’t as confident in releasing them as an album since I’m originally a classical guitarist. I wrote all of these tracks over the course of 3 years, during this time I grew a lot. It was a time of healing, getting rid of old patterns and overcoming misconceptions of myself. E C H O is like a diary of finding my inner voice again, connecting with others and seeing my role in the world. I hope that when you listen to this album it makes you feel seen! Thanks to everyone involved in the making of this album, especially the musicians @alinagropper , @flippie_sommer and @benarcello for playing the beautiful string parts, to @samuel_schwenk for planning the recording, pushing my guitar sound to the next level and blending all of these elements together so perfectly, to @fyxandfoxy for your visual artistic vision and for your support beyond measure. To @etienne.annelaure for creating these mesmerizing photographs that I feel portray the essence of the album so beautifully. The Squirrel original score is out now on all music streaming platforms. In his satire, @markuslehmusruusu created an alienated, dystopian future from which nature has evaporated. The story evolves around Pasi, a pet designer, who encounters something he has never seen before, a squirrel. Although it’s forbidden to have contact with any unknown or potentially dangerous thing, Pasi decides to help the little creature and secretly takes it to his home. Markus wanted the absurdity of the world portrayed in the music. It was a lot of fun creating the experimental soundscapes with my chroma console for that. As the film progresses and Pasi begins to get in contact with his feelings, the more organic the score becomes and acoustic instruments slowly take over the artificial sound world. We recorded a chamber string orchestra, and two soloists, @annaviechtl on harp and @benarcello on cello. I really want to shine a spotlight on these two as their performance and musicality are the heart of the score.
