Matt & Tom spent years collecting these moments to build a compelling story around Coach Kelsey’s journey to Louisville. The day we visited Charleston, February 10, 2024 was the first time we met, and this is full circle.
There are plenty of times when it’s easier to think about everything that went wrong, or about what didn’t happen, but to have the respect and acknowledgment in this way.. meant a lot.
The work continues… #keepfighting
You don’t have to take our word for it. 👏

Most of the things I’m most proud of in my Paralympic career actually have nothing to do with a finish line.
I think about standing in front of the International Olympic Committee as part of the Utah 2034 delegation, advocating to bring the Games back to Salt Lake.
I think about founding Culxtured and building a space that treats Paralympic sport like the elite sport it is.
And now this.
Working alongside @freshfeatures.co & @bungalowentertainment to help bring back the story of the U.S. sled hockey team from the 2002 Winter Paralympics.
Spending time with those athletes more than 20 years later. Hearing the story from their perspective. Understanding what it meant then & and what it means now.
Helping bring that story to the greater sports world.
This isn’t just a Paralympic sled hockey story.
It isn’t just a disability story.
It’s a sports story.
It’s about pressure. Team dynamics. Belief. Legacy. Gold medals. And what happens after the spotlight fades.
If you love sports the way I do… I promise you’ll love this one.
Grateful to the team for trusting me to research, help produce, and be part of telling something that matters.
Sometimes the greatest gift this movement gives you… isn’t a result but the chance to help carry the stories forward. 💙
Stream on Peacock beginning on March 2nd 📺
