2023 has been a helluva year for me and Fresh Emblem…
Safe to say the hardest year of my life. Some of the highest highs, some crushing lows, and everything in-between.
Yet I remain incredibly grateful. Grateful to everyone that has helped me/Fresh Emblem.
I could list probably 100 people… all the way to my 2 kiddos who just wanted to help Dad during his busy season. They aren’t old enough to tie a knot, but they found a way to help by threading the pre-cut string through the emblem holes and gave that to an adult to tie the knots. 🥲
The goal of 2023 was a year of bringing maximum hard-work/intensity to close out the year.
In 2024 I plan to work smarter, not harder… while still being cost efficient. This year it’s time to be less of a “maker” and more of an “entrepreneur.” I struggle with this, because lasering emblems and finishing them is therapeutic for me.
Still not sure what 2024 will bring. I’m excited to venture into unknown territory and continuously pushing myself out of my comfort zone.
Onward and upward 2024 🚀

I’m infamous for making one-off projects a little more difficult than they need to be
But damn, am I proud when my crazy ideas work out on the first try! To celebrate, I had a solo victory dance at 1am in my kitchen 🤪
Backstory: I decided to make a new market backdrop using the @northforgemb Roland printer for the markets I’m vending at this year. (My is goal is to avoid bringing my clunky wood booth walls all across Manitoba.)
Because as we all know Rule #7 is Travel Light 😉
