The Nordic Endeavour 2026 has officially launched with its maiden row and fjord clean-up in Oslo. 🌊
This British–Norwegian crew will take on a 3,000km coastal rowing expedition in 2026, to protect the environment and raise money to support maritime volunteer charities.
The journey kicked off at Lågøya Island, Oslo fjord, on 20 September, where the team launched their boat for the first time, rowed together, and freedived to clear litter from the Oslo Fjord.
Frequentis is proud to sponsor the project by funding the boat. With our mission-critical communication systems already connecting vessels, maritime rescue teams, and control centres across Norway, we are committed to keeping crews safe at sea — including the Nordic Endeavour rowers.

During an intense week in Oslo, the team pushed their limits with a 130 km training row, cold water sea survival training, and a demanding 2 hours on / 2 hours off rotation to simulate real conditions. From long hours on the water to a fjord clean-up, every step is part of the preparation for the challenge ahead.
