🎤 Before the stage, there’s the work. April 13 marked a Pitch Workshop ahead of the French Tech Capital Days. 11 startups supported. One goal : deeply understand the market and be ready to give everything in just 7 days. Anji Ismail, Patricia Santoni, and Corine Busson-Benhammou challenged, refined, and structured each pitch. Among them, @milor.dog 🐶, already soon established in Miami. And committed founders like Jessy Schulmann and Cyril Schulmann. Another session is coming. To go even further. To be ready. The network of French Tech Capitals and Communities 2026–2028 was announced on May 6 by the Minister Delegate for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Affairs, Anne Le Hénanff and also by Julie Huguet, director of La Mission La French Tech. The French Tech network is first and foremost a French government initiative aimed at positioning France among the world’s leading innovation nations and fostering the emergence of technology leaders. Innovation without borders ✨ ITC was a proud partner of the recently concluded French Tech Capital Days, marking a defining moment in Miami-Dade County’s evolution as a global tech and investment hub. In just five years, French Tech Miami has moved beyond momentum into true acceleration: 🔹 340+ attendees 🔹20 French startups on the ground to scale in Miami 🔹Participation from leading U.S. venture capital funds 🔹A growing track record of $180M+ in fundraising facilitated for French startups This is not a trend — it is a structural shift. Miami is no longer emerging. Miami-Dade County is establishing itself as a global platform for technology, capital, and scale. A productive meeting with El Salvador’s Minister of Economy, H.E. Maria Luisa Hayem, focused on the country’s economic momentum, opportunities for investment, and strengthening regional ties, including dialogue around broader hemispheric engagement. The event also highlighted the importance of inclusive innovation. Sudeshna Chatterjee, ITC, joined the Women & Tech panel alongside Corine Busson-Benhammou, Tatiana Calderón, Eglantine Courtiere, Angie Huffington, and Ndeye Birame Sock, contributing to a forward-looking dialogue on leadership, representation, and the future of technology. Closing the event, Gerard Philippeaux, Executive Director, ITC, reinforced a clear message: Miami is not just a place to enter the market — it is a place to start, scale, and connect globally. As international interest continues to grow — with increasing inbound demand from companies seeking to establish operations, raise capital, and build partnerships — Miami-Dade County remains committed to strengthening transatlantic and global innovation corridors.
