There’s a butterfly effect happening in the desert 🦋
Two years ago today, I made a simple introduction.
No big plan. No expectation. Just a feeling.
Last night, I watched that connection turn into a full summit… a merger… a movement. @silicon_oasis_az
And it hit me—
This might actually be my superpower.
Connecting the right people at the right time and trusting what unfolds.
Sometimes I joke… maybe I should just be a professional matchmaker and a mom 😂
But in all seriousness, this is what building looks like.
Not always loud. Not always linear.
Just small, aligned moments that compound over time.
Proof that one introduction can change everything.
Arizona is just getting started.
We will not be the same again.
Two weeks ago, 600+ people came together across two venues for the most widely attended event of Arizona Tech Week. Since then, the momentum hasn’t slowed.
From the Forbes 30 Under 30 Summit landing in Phoenix…
to the City of Mesa joining Freeway as a partner…
to real traction across talent, capital, and community…
You can feel the shift.
But what I keep coming back to isn’t just the scale it’s the culture that’s forming underneath it. People showing up differently. More open. More collaborative. More willing to build together.
That’s what actually drives ecosystems forward.
