February 2018 I created my first Fringe Fest. It was called 5F (February First Friday Fringe Fest). It was a night of freaky fun. 2021 SB Fringe Fest came together and was a lot of work and also very ambitious. Not everyone wanted to do another one…but I did. July 2023 I launched Fringe Fringe at Stockroom East. It was our first time working with Soma Pole and Shiko. We also had aerial silks, music, comedy, clowning, and so much more. Ensemble and collaboration means so much to me. The next year I produced Fringe Fringe Fringe. We had the Disdress Dolls, Soma, and so much more. I was excited to have such incredible talent willing to work with me. I remember walking up to
@margotmanifesto introducing myself right before she took the stage. I was enamored with this superstar. She is a world traveling Burlesque Hall of Fame trophy winning performer. This incredible human helped me produce 4ringe in 2024. Fringe is where weird belongs. We bring all the acts on the fringe to center stage. Margot is my co host, co producer, my muse, my inspiration, my partner, my love, my wife, and my everything. We decided to make a quarterly variety show based on all of these other fringe shows. @stockroom.east with so much incredible talent. We are bringing in a dear friend from St Paul to perform in South Bend.
@kitsonsass is also a Burlesque Hall of Fame performer. Every burlesque performer in the region will be inspired by Kitson. We also have performers driving in from Chicago. Aerial burlesque and silks. Plus real Chicago improv. We have some regional artists trusting in us to grace our stage. There’s poetry, opera, pole, dance, and a grand finale from Shark Sugar.
