A refined take on summer florals at Freestone Inn, thoughtfully designed by @seattlestunningevents
The palette moved from soft, romantic tones in the bridal bouquet into a richer ombré story carried throughout the ceremony and reception, layered with warm yellows, oranges, blush, and deeper blue and violet hues.
Intentional, cohesive, and brought so much life to the space.
Truth: My reception galleries will never be called “dainty.” Depending on the scope and layers of your reception, you will receive anywhere from 300–700 photos of every couple, group of friends from various life stages, traditional events, candid moments, and everything that happens on the dance floor- more than you could possibly see and experience as you enjoy the celebration yourself.
I don’t limit photos because I believe each of these moments will matter to you decades from now, and you shouldn’t have to choose which are the most important in the five weeks after your wedding when your gallery is delivered.

I had taken my Canon ae-1 home for Christmas with big ideas of capturing family traditions for the December installment on @12monthsonfilm . Sadly, a few photos into a roll of Portra 800, the Canon went kaput. Good news is that it was under warranty and KEH is working on it now!

This late October wedding for Emma and Aron @freestoneinn was the sweetest—and wettest—of the year 🥲. And- I couldn’t imagine a better couple to embrace the weekend with such grace, humor, and joy. We got drenched, Emma’s and my Raynaud’s fingers turned blue, yet we still soaked (pun intended) up every good thing that came of it!
When the rain came, we pulled the ceremony chairs inside and decided instead to pass out umbrellas and have everyone gather close around the chuppah. Can we do this more at weddings? 🥹 It felt different—personal, intimate, and beautifully focused on the two at the front and the words being spoken.
After the breaking of the glass, we warmed up with hot toddies, wood-fired pizzas, and hundreds of family heirloom-recipe cookies. The whole evening felt tender and timeless—simply stated yet overflowing with sentiment, laughter, and that perfect family holiday kind of good company.
