1 overnight ferry.
1 fast boat into the Mentawais.
All for a surf film that started as a “wouldn’t it be crazy if…” and somehow it turned into Eternal.
This trip pushed the limits of what I thought was possible – physically, mentally, creatively. Long days on the water, heavy heat, reef lurking underneath, constantly problem-solving and still trying to keep the camera steady and the vision intact.
Huge love to @bbierman_ , who came along as the unofficial medic and kept everyone patched up, hydrated, and (mostly) in one piece. And massive gratitude to @thridlink & @vivijsoce for the insane water angles, also thanks to the surfers @freepiet , @taxisachi@amalperrotin for sending it all day every day, the locals, and the ocean for letting us be there at all.
Also a special thanks to @cocobelize_ for bringing the stoke!

I was by myself on the peak to pick out my first real good one on my first session at Greenbush
@thridlink lined up for the water angle after stating that he will wait as long as it takes, I should wait for a good one.
@amalperrotin paddling out for a closer look and in full support and hype of this amazing opportunity to arrive to an empty perfect spot

My first successful foil ride at Dungeons
Not bad for the first time on such high spec gear. With a couple more practice runs it’s going to become way more smooth.

A super fun day of wave riding activities at the wildest playground I know of.
Paddling, Towing, Foiling and even catching one just bodysurfing after losing the tow board on the slab.
So stoked to have so many friends out in one place and everyone having an absolute blast.
