#TrueStory I first created this piece in 2020 during the pandemic. This is the second version to this piece. The first version the fabric was trash 😩. I wanted soft to the touch fabric UHHHKAY. After a year of searching I found a small business in the Ukraine to source the material. I ended up purchasing a few sample colors. The cost of shipping was damn near the cost of the material 😩.
I used a series of knots to create a top and skirt! Though I loved the outcome I needed it to give ALL EYES ON ME.
So I ended up spending some more coins at M&J trim in the city on these crystals!
I STUCK EVERY LAST INDIVIDUAL CRYSTAL ON THERE BY HAND! 😌
I ended up making three piece for a clients and their followers loved it!
I have some sample styles I was working out but unfortunately because of the war in the Ukraine my supplier went out of business.
I glad I got enough sample colors though!
It’s now 2023 and I’m wearing my design for the first time (even though I only put it on to take the video 🤣😂)
I really do think it’s a timeless piece! And will age well with its audience.
