Join us for a free fundraising event supporting Operation Hummus — the newest film by award-winning Egyptian filmmaker Aida Elkashef, shot on 16mm in Athens, GA.
Featuring live music by Freeman Leverett and Topkapi Trio — plus a screening of Rhapsody in Autumn (2009), Elkashef’s undergrad thesis film at the High Cinema Institute in Cairo.
All donations are tax deductible through Film Independent and support wrapping production costs and beginning post-production for the film.
