Available on our YouTube channel. In this ITW, we welcome CY. Behind the alias Cy is a Swiss DJ and producer who pursues music in his spare time alongside his work as a watchmaker. It is through the cello, which he played for nine years, and the Orchestra of the Collège de Genève, where he performed for four years, that he most developed his musical sensibilities. Cy does not consider himself a professional, but rather a passionate individual who seeks to convey the emotions music evokes in him through his sets and his few productions available on SoundCloud. FreeForm is a Geneva-based collective of DJs. We produce podcasts recorded by various artists, to whom we aim to offer a space for expression, both through their musical selections and their own voice. Without pretension, we share the stories of figures from Geneva’s nightlife and beyond.

New Podcast out on our SoundCloud ! Immersed from an early age in a broad musical culture, he quickly developed an instinctive and genuine relationship with music. Before fully dedicating himself to his artistic project, he completed three years of studies in Music Business, which helped structure and refine his experience. He then became a manager and producer for local electronic and urban music artists. In 2020, he decided to refocus on himself, his music, and the development of his own universe. That same year, he founded the collective and label Lakeside Basement, with the aim of highlighting artists from the Swiss electronic scene while building bridges internationally. The project rapidly expanded, hosting around twenty events per year across Switzerland, France, and Germany. The collective also launched the Basement Podcasts three years ago, which have already featured more than 120 artists. His sets are hybrid and boundary-free, drawing from a wide range of electronic aesthetics as well as hip-hop and contemporary music. On the production side, ALIASLOH has released around ten tracks so far, very well received by his audience, several of which have been premiered by major European labels. Multiple new releases are currently in preparation and will further strengthen his artistic identity.

New podcast out, on our SoundCloud ! Originally inspired by house artists such as Harrison BDP and Herr Krank, he gradually developed a strong passion for hard trance, drawn to its infectious, mind-driven melodies and the emotional intensity it conveys. His musical identity is built around a balance between depth and energy, blending long, intense buildups with fast, dynamic transitions that maintain constant tension on the dancefloor. Through this one-hour mix, he offers a sonic journey that stays true to his overall style: mental and euphoric experience designed to resonate deeply with the audience while spreading a fun, accessible and sincere vibe. Without aiming to lock himself into the pure underground or drift towards the mainstream, his approach is guided by a single intention, to share his passion for music and create moments of connection and collective enjoyment.

New Podcast out, on SoundCloud ! Since I have encountered electronic music, I’ve been looking for THE genre that would define me best; unsurprisingly, it’s hard to stick to one. I mainly navigate between Jungle, Drum & Bass, and Hardcore Breakbeat, which I often mix with Techno (Hardgroove and Future Groove) to vary the rhythms. To be a bit clearer, my sets are mostly composed of sweet melodies and solid kicks, with a bit of speed added to tie it all together (between 150 and 170 bpm).
