It's a back to reality holiday review post, as it is currently grey & raining in Paris. So just take a moment to appreciate those blue skys & crystal waters of the Philippines 🇵🇭 I'm gonna put it out there & say I'll always be an island gal 🧜🏻‍♀️ Two weeks, multiple adventures, living in bathers, island hopping and soaking in all that the Palawan region has to offer. From the beautiful archipelago of islands, stunning beaches and underwater life, the warm, welcoming people and last but not least the food! Highlight being the food tour in Manila, 10/10 recommend. We spent 4 days with the @bigdream_boatman who showed us the tiny local finds between the big touristy hot spots. Making this experience was the 24 other souls on board from around the world, bringing crew and passengers together in an open minded "family" experience. In my opinion, the only way to travel through Palawan. Would do it all again in a heart beat 🥰 This is your sign to visit the Philippines, it may be on your radar, it may not be, but truly consider it. We still have so much to see, so we will definitely be back! Can't say when but it stays on the ever growing list. I had to get on this trend as a lot happened and changed in my life 10 years ago! 2016 was a big year! As I come towards a decade living in Germany, I look back fondly on this year. I rounded out my time with @qldballet after 7.5 years in Brisbane, moved around the world with one suitcase and a whole lot of excitement, started my new job with @staatsballetthannover , tried to navigate a long distance relationship, turned 26 in Paris 🥰, made life long friends in my new surroundings & (little did I know at the time!) begun what would be a long existence in the EU! Moving to Europe was super hard but 1000% worth it when I look back today. I've come so far in 10 years, met so many amazing people, travelled the world, met my man @maximnau , stepped away from the stage but keep my finger on the pulse working with @martinchaix , learnt new things, dived into new careers and continue to challenge myself everyday. Travel with us from our front door in Germany to our Bungalow on Sangat Island in the Philippines. 36 hours of travel including an 8 hour layover in Manila for a few hours of sleep before the final leg!
