When I was pregnant with my first, I really struggled to feel put together while maximizing daily comfort. Lucky for me, we had just launched the Tyler Dress the summer before I got pregnant. I was already wearing the sample non-stop as my date night and travel dress. But throughout my pregnancy it became a clear wardrobe staple. (Swipe to the last photo for evidence) A particularly fond memory I have wearing my Tyler Dress was in my second trimester during a pop up we did in Toronto (my hometown). We were seeing so many customers, community members and also my old friends. I felt really cute in my Tyler AND it did the trick to hide my little baby bump when I didn’t want any additional attention (thank you, waist ties!). I’m logging off before I go on too many pointless rants. All I’ll say is: seek out and support the small businesses that are GENUINELY producing with the earth and humanity in mind. Any corporation that tells you they are sustainable is lying. Sustainability is a journey, not a destination, and unfortunately it is not profitable. Buy fewer things, of greater quality that LASTS and was made responsibly. That’s a great start.
