One van. A huge difference. 🚐
Before getting a wheelchair-accessible van, even routine trips to the doctor were a challenging task for Peyton and her family. A van would make things safer and easier, but the cost was tremendous.
Through our Keys to Mobility program, we contributed $20,000 to help make it possible. As her mom shares, even a year later, they still talk about how much easier everyday life is with the van.

At Fred’s Footsteps, we’re committed to understanding needs and providing meaningful support to families caring for children with disabilities, including autism.
We recently received an application from a family whose son has autism. He loves playing in their yard, but when a retention pond was created in their neighborhood, it introduced a serious safety risk. The family hoped to install a fence around their yard to keep him safe, but the cost was out of reach. Through our Pat’s Projects program, we’re helping make that fence possible so he can safely enjoy playing outside again and his family can have peace of mind. 💙

Every child deserves the opportunity to be outside and explore, but for many children with disabilities, access can be more challenging. We helped a local family purchase an all-terrain GRIT Freedom Chair for their son who has spine bifida, expanding opportunities to stay active and explore the outdoors with his family.
Here’s to fresh air, new paths, and moments made possible together. 💙
This National Volunteer Week, we’re celebrating our incredible event volunteers.
Each year, they help bring Golf Fun Day and Party in the Yard to life- supporting event planning, securing sponsors and raffle items, assembling favor bags, and welcoming guests on event day. Many have been with us since the very beginning, helping build the foundation we stand on today. We’re so grateful for their time, dedication, and support.
