I had the pleasure to visit the #Eames house in California. Completed in 1949 by Charles and Ray, it sits on a bluff overlooking the Pacific, on a roughly 1.4-acre site. Built as part of the Case Study House program, it uses industrial materials (steel framing and prefabricated panels of glass and fiberboard) to create a modular, light-filled residence that served both as a home and a working studio.
