We open The BFG at Chichester Festival Theatre today! This will be my first time bringing a large scale, professional show with no prior connection to the youth theatre or theatre to this space, and it feels like a momentous occasion. A full circle moment. 9 years since my time in the incredible youth theatre, and 10 years since my first professional contract. This space is filled with so many special memories for me and so many others, and it means a lot to be able to contribute to people coming away from the theatre with their own wonderful memories. Mum and Ed, the two people who dedicated so much time to giving me lifts to weekly youth theatre sessions, and months of rehearsals and shows, It feels like it might all have been worth it. ❤️

Tonight’s the night! We open this incredible, magical, complex, sweat-inducing, laugh-filled show that so many people have put so many years of work into. I hope the world loves it as much as we all do. RSC debut. Ed would have been ecstatic. ❤️✨
