The moment I met
@princess_nelia8 I knew she was something special and someone i would enjoy spending time with. She’s such a gentle, old soul with a calm and kind nature. She always brought a peaceful energy to the truck and set every single day, but this is not to say she didn’t also bring the fun positive energy party vibes too!
For her character Puppy, our director
@saradunlop imagined cornrows – and we loved the idea of keeping them long so they’d move beautifully when she danced.
@hairbyquiche did a gorgeous job establishing the braids, with
@koniakmakeup assisting, who for block one looked after Princess’s hair and makeup with such care and love - thank you!
@joannetuddamakeup took over for the later blocks and kept that same love and consistency through to the end of the shoot - thank you 🙏.
@shareaceinthecity_hair also took over Princess’s braids - thank you so much for all your contributions to the show!!
Puppy’s daily look was soft and simple – just a tiny flick of liner and some lip balm. But we got to have fun with it for the nightclub and music video scenes, using that gentle base as a launchpad into her vibrant world - posts to come!
