I had the chance to mix and master 4 songs on this new collection of songs by @renmakesmusic and I’m really proud to be part of it.
One of the things I respect most about working on these projects is how they’re made - independently, with a clear vision, and a lot of care in every decision. There’s no big system steering it, just commitment to the music, and that’s something you don’t see at this level very often.
Ren and I have been working together since Sick Boi, which went UK #1 and reached people all over the world. Being able to keep building on that and help shape the sound of this new chapter has meant a lot.
Most artists don’t struggle because of talent or gear. They struggle because of misunderstandings.
Mixing & mastering aren’t about doing more.
They’re about doing the right things for the right reasons.
