Weeks posts
I had the incredible privilege of being part of the RISE Women in Leadership Programme (2026 Cohort), an enriching six-week journey alongside some truly inspiring women organized by Dr @jehimuan The past weeks have been filled with deep learning, unlearning, and growth. I met brilliant minds, exchanged ideas, and reflected on what it means to lead with purpose and authenticity. One of my biggest takeaways from this experience is that leadership is not about perfection, but about intention, building strong values, leaning into opportunities even when the path isn’t clear, and most especially, continuously stepping beyond comfort zones. Grateful to the RISE team and the phenomenal women who made this experience unforgettable. A huge thank you to all the phenomenal women who sacrificed their time to pour into us … Juliet Ehimuan, Bola Adesola, Opunimi Akinkugbe, Ibukun Awosika, Bonita Stewart, Bolanle Austen-Peters, Funke Opeke, Bolaji Agbede, and Ndidi Okonkwo Nwuneli. It was truly an honour to listen, learn, and gain insights from your experiences, leadership, and wisdom. Thank you so much for investing in the next generation of women leaders. To the powerhouse women I shared the stage with Onayimi Aiwerioghene HCIB, Toyin Arowolo, and Elizabeth Ifeoma Uba-Onubogu it was indeed a privilege to speak alongside you. #RISEBeyondLimits2026 #WomenInLeadership #GrowthMindset #LeadershipDevelopment

One of the most powerful tools in my journey so far has been the simple act of writing things down. I’ve built a steady discipline around documenting my goals; once a task is on paper, it stays at the forefront of my mind until I can finally tick it off as “done.” It works better than magic! The Bible is incredibly intentional with its language. In Habakkuk 2:2, it says: “Write the vision and make it plain... that he may run that readeth it.” Notice that it doesn’t say they will just understand it, and it doesn’t say they will simply walk. It says they will run. When you take the time to make your vision plain, you aren’t just planning; you are creating the momentum required to move at God’s speed. My Advice to You Cultivate the habit of writing down your plans today. When you move from “thinking” to “documenting,” you provide a roadmap for the wonders of God to manifest in your life. Write it down, make it plain, and get ready to run!

I recently attended the RISE Leadership Executive Program for Women, and it was truly everything I expected, and more. One habit I’ve started building when I attend programs like this is: 📍 Beyond capturing insights, I create a dedicated “to-do” page, translating learning into action. One key takeaway that stood out for me during the workshop was the importance of self-assessment as individuals or leaders as the case maybe. We regularly conduct SWOT analyses for businesses, yet rarely pause to do the same for ourselves. Taking the time to evaluate your strengths, gaps, opportunities, and risks personally can be incredibly clarifying and transformative. Grateful to Dr @jehimuan and the incredible team at @the_beyondlimits for putting together such a thoughtful and impactful program. Looking forward to applying these learnings in the coming weeks. #rise #beyondlimits #womeninleadeeship

In my experience coordinating complex programs across multiple states, I’ve realized that professional reputation is fragile. If you want to maintain your “Trust Currency,” here are 5 things to stop doing immediately: 1.Don’t tell stakeholders what they want to hear; tell them what the data says. It’s better to be a realist than a visionary who fails to deliver. 2. Never make a decision without a “why” backed by numbers. Guesses are expensive. 3. A project isn’t “done” when the report is written. It’s done when the impact reaches the person at the end of the line. 4. If your calendar is full but your goals (on Notion or elsewhere) aren’t moving, you’re just vibrating in place. 5. Failing the Follow-up:90% of professional friction is caused by someone waiting for an update that never came. Excellence is often just the absence of avoidable mistakes. Which one of these do you see most often? 👇
