Dreckschweinfest von Ferdinand Peuker #exposed „Allein der Name war abgefahren. Ich habe mich gefragt: Was passiert da eigentlich? Trinken die einfach nur? Aber einige sind in Verkleidung…“ Ferdinand Peuker entdeckte in der Kunsthalle Jena Schwarz-Weiß-Fotografien des „Dreckschweinfests“ in Hergisdorf. Die geweckte Neugier und eine Aufgabenstellung im Kurs von Tobias Kruse, das Thema „Wesen” zu fotografieren, motivierten ihn, selbst zu dem Fest zu fahren. In seiner Serie „Dreckschweinfest” begibt er sich auf eine fotografische Entdeckungsreise zu Tradition, Absurdität und Rollenbildern. Ohne viel Vorwissen und Organisation dokumentiert er ungeschönt und unmittelbar alte Bräuche in der heutigen Zeit, die beim Betrachten viele Fragen aufwerfen. Ferdinand Peuker ist Student im Orientierungssemester bei Göran Gnaudschun an der Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie. »heimweh«, the group show by students of the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie (Seminars of Maria Sewcz & Tobias Kruse) will be #opening on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 6 – 9 pm at the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung in Berlin-Friedrichshain! Through 23 photographic works, the exhibition invites visitors to explore the multifaceted perspectives, themes, and emotional and social dimensions of #housing. Welcome & introduction by: Daniela Trochowski, Managing Director of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation Lia Darjes, Co-Director of the Ostkreuz School of Photography Berlin Workshop discussion with students Elena Sohmen, Henryk Boeck, and Faye Bryson about the project, moderated by Ulrike Hempel, Rosa Luxemburg Foundation. There will be an accompanying program with guided tours of the exhibition, a photography workshop for children and young people, and discussion events on the topics of housing and renting and responsible journalistic reporting.
