Last weekend, we competed at the New England District Championship on the Newsom Division! Yet again, we exceeded our own expectations going into this event and had an amazing time throughout the entire event.
We ranked 8th overall and ended up moving up through playoffs as Captains of Alliance 6, alongside of our great partners 177 Bobcat Robotics and 8013 Boston lions.
Though we were knocked out of playoffs in the semi-finals, we were glad to receive the Judge’s Award for the second time this season! On top of that, we are excited to announce that we have officially qualified for the World Championship in Houston, Texas! We are more than thrilled that our season hasn’t ended yet and cannot wait to see what the World Championship holds for team 238! 💛🖤

Last weekend, we completed at our second district event of the REBUILT Season - The UNH District Event! We were absolutely thrilled with how well we did and easily exceeded our own expectations as this event played over the 2 days. We were ranked 1st overall, and made it through alliance selection as captains of alliance #1 alongside our amazing partners @frcteam1058 and @thebigredrobotics . We would like to give a tremendous shout out to @frc9443aluminumpanthers for being able to fill in as a backup robot with such short notice. Your quick efforts helped us to advance through finals and ultimately win the event!
We ended the event with an overall record of 17-1-0, and took home the Autonomous Award. Fun Fact: this is the first time we have won this award in the history of our team! With this, we have since qualified for the New England District Championship where we will compete from April 15th - 18th!
We would like to thank all of the volunteers and event coordinators for putting on yet another amazing and smooth event, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for us next! 🖤💛

This past weekend we had the opportunity to compete at Reading Memorial High for the North Shore District event! We were absolutely blown away with how well we performed over the course of these two days. We ended up ranking 3rd overall, made it to finals as captains of Alliance 2 alongside @red.hawk.robotics and @frc6201 and won the Judge’s Award! We ended this event with a record of 13-5-0.
We would like to thank the event volunteers for ensuring the event ran as smooth as possible, as well as the event photographers for taking amazing pictures throughout the weekend!

Our week 7+8 recap is finally here!
We’ve been hard at work wrapping up projects in the last few weeks of our build season this year. With these last two weeks, we’ve been able to finish building our robot to begin testing subsystems such as our feeder and shooters as well as being able to finalize software for the robot. We also started construction on our bumpers. We’ve continued working with our scouting software, making changes to it wherever necessary.
We are really pleased to be wrapping up our build season on a high note, and you can find us at the North Shore District Event this weekend! 🟡🖤💛
