Fran has made amazing progress since her last comp in March 2024 with a huge 60kg on her total in 6 months.
A lot of work going in on all three lifts to improve technique and make them competition standard has paid off, alongside consistency and hard work from Fran to contribute to such big improvements.
Fran has set herself some big goals for after this comp which I have no doubt she’ll achieve and look forward to seeing her progress in the sport.

🚨8 WEEKS OUT 🚨
After a very slow start back after Nationals, we made block 4 finally work for us 💪🏼
Weights and momentum are slowly creeping up 📈
Bring on North West Champs!
A mixed bag of emotions and results at my first national comp. This prep saw some really busy periods which meant there were some weeks where I was doing 3/4 training sessions back to back- something I will try to be avoiding entering my next prep 😅
Hence some fatigue (and perhaps lack of experience) meant I didn’t get 2/9 lifts. However, me and the amazing @swole_mami know what to do for next time to come back even stronger 💪🏼

142.5 🔴⚪️🔴 - knees were a little too soft but having never attempted this weight before and it flew in comparison to what I did a week before was kinda insane.

⭐️ 77.5 PB ⭐️ ⚪️⚪️⚪️ - I remember 80 being my goal for bench for the end of the year and the fact I’m only 2.5kg away in August is so exciting- crazy what a bit of comp adrenaline can do!

200 🔴🔴🔴 - My baby. My lift. Might not have happened this time around but I always had it in my mind I was going to attempt the big 200. Trying to focus on the fact 190 flew in comparison to last comp. When I fix that quad assist, that 200 better watch out…who knows…could be more 👀
TOTAL: 402.5kg (MATCHED COMP PB)- not the best but not the worst. Focusing on the positives and pushing on forwards 📈

I remember just hitting 70 was a huge milestone in itself a few months ago!

Can’t quite believe how fast it moved! My 80kg (now maybe more 👀) bench by the end of the year goal is looking more and more likely…

Earliest I’ve hit 180 in a prep! Eyes on the prize continue…that prize being the 200kg deadlift…
