A strong focus of the course will be to achieve “accuracy with urgency”. Each hard skill is measurable and has an associated evaluation. The evaluations will test a reasonable degree of accuracy with a reasonable amount of speed. In short, we are training to win a fight with a gun against another person. We are not shooting Bullseye and we are not shooting USPSA.”
“Shooters will walk away from the course with a classification based on how they performed through the Hard Skill Evaluations.”

We’re fortunate to call Frank both a friend and mentor. He is widely regarded as a subject matter expert in performance shooting, and @kimberamerica recently trusted his experience and insight during the development of the K211.

The @kimberamerica 2k11
Is a very soft shooting accurate pistol. Kimber is absolutely killing it with the new line of double stack 1911s in 5” 4.25” comped, non comped and even a 10mm.
For the past few years I have been working with Kimber and I currently ONLY shoot Kimber pistols. I love the aesthetics but the performance and reliability are my favorite features of these guns.

A friend of mine recently told me that his partner Deputy Mathew Sheets of Lee County Alabama Sheriff’s Department was shot during a warrant service recently. He survived however there was some damage to his arm that is going to require several surgeries to repair nerves and other damage.
Let’s wish him a full and speedy recovery.

This was the classifier from today’s @theuspsa match. This was solid (2.85 all Alphas) I just executed shooting the way I can….the stage before this which was the first stage of the day was a complete mental meltdown because my mind was totally not focused on the process of shooting and I was waaaaay too excited mentally and physically. That stage was a really good lesson learned the hard way. We shot 5 stages today I had 2 that I really feel like I executed to my ability and 2 others where the overall execution of shooting was pretty good but had a small mental error on each one of those that hurt the overall score. All in all a good day, I got to see some old friends and found a couple gems to work on in my shooting. I’m really thinking shooting Open division fairly seriously and see what I can do.
I’m shooting an open gun that I put together from one of my @kimberamerica 2K11s, the gun runs great and I reaaaaally like the frame mounted dot👍
