Meet Oscar. More on him soon.
“I’m contender number one.
Oscar.
Don’t know who I am.
I came on television because I’m sure there’s something in me that will shine.
And I’m here to find true happiness,
if I’m lucky enough to be the chosen one.
I’m excited for what’s to come.
Once my leg heals,
Far away from here I’ll run.”
HERIDA will be my senior thesis as a Film Production student at LMU.
It comes from a lot of intense experiences and emotions that are translated into these images, characters, scenes, and places — they want to say something to you, something I can’t really put into words, which is why I love cinema so much.
Since I was a kid, I understood this was my way of communicating and seeing. Really the way to express myself. And I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to do what I love.
We have such an amazing team working on this, and it is being done with a lot of care.
We hope you consider supporting our film.

Shot this 2 years ago. I was coming out of a difficult situation — quite a mess, really. But the image of a boxer came to my mind. The idea that sometimes you just gotta fight your way through.
Looking back, it feels like a blur. It was cold. We shot in my garage. My family and friends star in the film. No budget, no permits. True indie fashion.
It’s out now. The link is in my bio!
Thank you to everyone who helped me with this, and for their patience through the time it took to finish post-production.
Two years cutting this thing apart like a backyard surgeon. Other projects came in between, and it took time for everything to fall into place. A dream that kept coming back over and over.
