Seven years ago, I almost walked away from it all. I wanted to sell every piece of equipment I owned because the joy felt like it had completely evaporated. I didn’t want a single reminder of what I used to love around me.
They say time heals, but I think it’s what you do with that time that matters. Healing is a journey of learning, relearning, and unlearning, and I’m so grateful to the circle that told me to wait.
I’ve spent the last few years unlearning the “hustle” and relearning the simple joy of the craft. Today, I’m picking up the camera on my own terms. No pressure, no rush—just pure creativity.
