Write your Draft is a 6-week course @theoldnurserytottenham designed to help you turn loose ideas into a clear, compelling narrative. Whether you’re starting from scattered notes or a concept that’s lost its way, this course gives you the structure, support, and creative momentum to move forward.
Each week, we’ll focus on a key element of storytelling—character, structure, setting and more—through practical exercises and targeted prompts that build toward your own piece of writing. You won’t just learn theory; you’ll actively shape your story in real time.
You’ll be part of a supportive group of writers who are in the same place as you: figuring it out as they go. By the end of the six weeks, you won’t just have ideas anymore—you’ll have a story that exists on the page, along with the tools and confidence to keep going.
This course is for you if:
- You have an idea but don’t know how to develop it
- You’ve started writing but feel stuck or unsure where to go next
- You want structure, guidance, and deadlines that actually help
- You’d benefit from a creative community
