Delighted to be invited to exhibit as a part of ‘Earth Now’ @northhousegallery 16 May until 27 June (open 10-5 Saturdays or by appointment) as part of the Manningtree Earth Festival organised by PACE (Practical Action for Climate & Earth). I’ve created two different installations for the show - an installation of ocean plastics and (more unusually for me) a series of digital photos, ‘Master Pieces’. The opening is this weekend 10-5. Sadly I can’t make it then but will be at the gallery on Sat 23 May. I’d love to see you there! @pacemanningtree @lilliasaugustri @neilbousfield @melvynjamesking #oceanplastics #museumofbeyond #goodancestors #EarthFestival

RAINBOW WARRIOR LEI - huge thanks to @stickandstonejewellery for this fantastic surprise gift for the Museum of Beyond (sent with some gorgeous new earrings 🥰) - scroll for more info… The Museum of Beyond is still in Thorpeness - open on an ad hoc basis (see website for latest dates) or on request. Do just ask!

I’ve been rearranging space at the Museum of Beyond to give a bit more room to ‘Postcards from Beyond’… inspiring to re-read what people have written. Come and browse - or write one too… The exhibition is open this Saturday (with drinks!) 3-6pm and next Thursday 26th 2-4pm.

Do come and join me for a drink at my exhibition, The Museum of Beyond, on Saturday 21st September from 3pm until 6pm to celebrate the last weekend of summer and the imminent autumn equinox. This Saturday sees one of the highest tides of the year at Thorpeness so a good time to visit the beach too. You can find The Museum of Beyond at Peace Place, Thorpeness IP16 4NA; what3words: raven.fields.hood - just behind the Dolphin pub. I’ll also be at the exhibition tomorrow from 1-3pm and next Thursday 26th September from 2-4pm. Hopefully see you soon!

I love it when people add objects to the Museum of Beyond. Arthur the Penguin is a current favourite but there’s some great contributions already in the collection, for instance the ‘peacemaker’. I’m opening the museum this coming week or so on the days below: Mon 9th Sept (today!) 2-4 Fri 13th Sept 2-4 Thurs 19th Sept 1-3 Do come along, have a cuppa and explore the collections - and maybe add your own description to an object.

I’ve been busy painting and the Museum of Beyond now has its own sign at its temporary home in the Thorpeness old village stores (just behind the Dolphin pub). After a busy summer season in the lovely gallery space of the pop-up shop, my installation ‘The Museum of Beyond’ will be staying on for the autumn, opening on an ad hoc basis (when I can get there!). This week the museum will be open on: Wednesday, 4th September from 3.30pm until 5.30pm. Friday, 6th September from 10.30am until 12.30pm. Saturday, 7th September from 10.30am until 12.30pm. For more info and an update on further dates when I will be at the Museum, please keep an eye on the museum’s website: /news.html I would love to see you there.

Creating at C Beyond…. It’s the last few days of my exhibition C Beyond in the Dovecote Studio at Snape Maltings… It’s been fantastic to talk with so many people. I’m really pleased it’s inspired quite a bit of creating too! You can see everyone’s personal messages here /sizewellcnot4me/.  And you can add your own messages using #sizewellcnot4me. I’m here every day 12-4 until this Sunday 7th November – I’d love to see you here. But if you’re unable to come, do have a look at my exhibition online /cbeyond.html - in particular /elephantintheroom.html: despite what you may hear in the media, the proposed nuclear reactors will not help tackle climate change and are unproven and fraught with build blunders. If Sizewell C goes ahead, it will affect everyone – and we and future generations will be paying for it for decades. Please give love to Suffolk – and future generations  - by  supporting the campaign and taking some of the small actions suggested here /cbeyond.html 😊
