While scouting out a spot for a shoot coming up in the next couple weeks the sun set over the river forth was just stunning!!

Found a spot where I could get my Subaru BRZ down onto the beach to get an amazing back drop for the photos. The final pictures are really giving me Need for Speed vibes ( what a game!!)

Also want to point, out even though it was pretty dam cold Megan powered on like an absolute trooper and somehow kept her balance walking about on a pebbly beach in those huge heels!

I find it’s always a bit of a gamble with astrophotography as you can barely see with the naked eye what you are trying to shoot.
However, last night I was blown away by what I captured!!
I wonder if the Artemis II rocket is in there somewhere 🤔

From a technical point of view, I am really enjoying a 2:1 cropping ratio atm and placing the subject in one part of the frame with the rest being context of the photo (if that makes sense😂)

Went for an early morning walk around Carron Valley Reservoir yesterday and what a stunning day I picked! I’ve got a lot of fun memories surrounding this place as I used to go mountain biking all the time here when I was a teenager.
