Pulled from our grainy memories of the hours we sank into Mortal Combat, Kintaro is our newest release at that will have you mashing your keyboard just to see each character.
Broadly inspired by the combat arenas of Mortal Combat, like the infamous "The Pit", Kintaro is as sharp and as angular as low-res renderings of these from our youth. Built for headlines, is a graphic, condensed serif that supports extended Latin and Cyrillic. At first glance the font family appears sharp and spiky, however it does have a soft side. With its mix of soft curves and abrupt angles, Kintaro stands out in a crowded genre of didones and slabs. The exaggerated serifs mixed with the smooth rounds create eye catching forms within the type family.
This font family offers 6 weights to fight for you in your next project, from an agile Light all the way to an imposing Black. Customise your text with Kintaro’s alternate characters for a combo that hits hard in any situation.
