A couple of weeks ago (before the snow but on a cool morning!), Sappy Staff Team 2025 reunited for a long planned photo shoot in our Sappy 20 T-shirts by the highway sign that inspired it: we paid our respects to the wind!
Big thanks to @magiclanterns for designing the super sweet Ts. (Freddy got a cool misprint that has the image on both the front and back. He’s like a whirlwind!) Thanks to Tegan for taking the picture!
And while we’re here we’d like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who made this anniversary year so spectacular, all the bands and artists for bringing the fire and wonder, all the volunteers for making it happen in the biggest and best way, all the partners and sponsors that make this community magic, day-in and day-out year round: Struts Gallery, Owens Gallery, R.P. Bell Library, Ducky’s Pub, Cranewood Bakery, Bagtown Brewery, CHMA, and the Town Of Tantramar. And everyone who brought their best and sappiest selves to the festival!
2026 coming soon, more music, more art, probably more wind too (😬).

Freddy Hyun Smith - Production Assistant

A classic body swap story, a tale as old as time. I remember the fifth grade, when a stray solar flare struck the massage chair me and my gerbil were lounging in. We remained swapped for almost a year. The only thing more difficult than adjusting to the fuzzy, low-colour senses of the gerbil was the pain I felt once I returned to my own body. I still get excited anytime I see a ferris wheel or a large pile of sawdust.

There's no point in trying to understand this one, it doesn't make any sense. This is my "cow tools". Feel free to send angry letters. I encourage it, even
