If you try and convince me that the 3” toothpick is the best platform in micro FPV - well… I just might listen 🙂
The flight characteristics of this platform are truly unlike anything else - floaty, drifty, powerful but not touchy, and can’t forget that BEAUTIFUL BI BLADE sound profile! I may be a bit biased as it fits my flight style well, but I recommend every micro enthusiast build one up at some point.
DJI 04 continues to impress, especially in its element of 2s and on 100fps modes. No stabilization on this platform, just for general awareness - it doesn’t seem possible when we are using larger motors/props without proper soft mounting. But not sure this is the platform for stab anyway
More details to come after more testing but I am using @fpvcycle 1s motors with a BIG OL limit on the 2mm Babytooth frame. Getting little over 3min on a 550mah and it’s a rocket ship

8mm Glide Frame Kit
This frame has 8mm thick arms that are set inside the body and brace the entire fuselage. It is incredibly rigid yet still only weighs ~115g built.
There are tens of thousands of Glides out there. Its formula is extremely tried and true at this point. It has been extremely difficult to improve on the Glide in any meaningful way but this is finally a genuine step forward. While the 8mm Glide shares the same name, the electronic layout is really the only aspect that it shares with the regular Glide. The rest of its design elements come from our other designs through the years.
This frame was inspired by Ahren Ciotti @ciottifpv because he has a knack for destroying absolutely everything. The idea was to use the much thicker and stronger arms to secure the entire fuselage structure by moving the arms inside the body and extending a leg to hold the next set of standoffs. Chirs Rosser’s @chrisrosserfpv λ (lambda) arm design was a shoe in here because it was the obvious way to extend that leg to the next standoff. Chris wasn’t the first to use the λ arm design but he did demonstrate its torsional superiority. That being said, it’s not as simple as just making that shape, full computational analysis is required to achieve the sought after performance because it must be designed as a unified structure. We don’t guarantee that you won’t have vibrations, but the first computational node on this structure is so high that it would seem impossible for the frame to resonate and exasperate any vibrations.

The 22.6mm Motor - 1920kv
This motor is designed for high power and high response 5" performance without sacrificing efficiency. The unique 22.6mm stator size comes from the RCInpower Wasp motor which is uniquely powerful and efficient for its size and weight. We've taken that same formula, updated the magnets, thickened the magnets, and increased the stator height for more overall torque without overdoing the surface area to volume ratio of the stator. The Kv is 1920 and has been carefully tuned to provide the response and power which results in that intoxicating connected feel with the craft.
Other features include a bell that is very easy to remove and swap out and a rubber O-ring between the bell and bearing for shaft retention pressure control. The bell spoke design of all our latest 5" and up motors are extra thick for even more durability. Even so, nothing can ultimately hold up to the smashing punishment that is FPV. We're selling the stator and bell separately to make a statement that you can repair your motors very easily with only one screw. As a bonus, we're able to offer various bell colors without stocking an excessive number of products.
