Congratulations to FPMS teacher, Mr. Almaoui!
We are proud to share that Mr. Almaoui attended the 52nd Annual Those Who Excel Awards Banquet this past weekend. He was recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education with the Award of Meritorious Service in the Classroom Teacher category as part of the Those Who Excel & Teacher of the Year program!
This prestigious recognition honors educators across Illinois who have made significant contributions to their schools and communities, and Mr. Almaoui is truly deserving of this honor. His dedication to our staff/scholars, commitment to excellence, and impact in the classroom reflect the very best of FPMS.
🌎💚 Happy Earth Day! 💚🌎
Today is a great reminder that even the smallest actions can make a big difference. Whether it’s recycling, planting something new, or simply getting outside to appreciate the beauty around us-every little bit counts.
Let’s take care of our planet not just today, but every day. 🌱✨
How are you celebrating Earth Day? 🌍💚
Today we celebrate the heart behind so much of what makes our school community special-our volunteers!
On this National Volunteer Appreciation Day, we want to give a special thank you to our Forest Park PTO, along with all of the parents, caregivers, and community members who generously give their time and energy to support our schools. From organizing events and supporting classrooms to working behind the scenes, your impact is felt every single day.
Because of you, our students and staff have opportunities, experiences, and support that truly make a difference.
We are so grateful for all that you do-thank you!
The 3rd Annual Bike Safety Carnival is rolling into the Roos Center Outdoor Pavilion on May 30 from 9:00–11:00 AM, and it’s the perfect place to gear up and ride safe! No matter how you roll—bike, scooter, skateboard, or roller blades—a helmet is a must, and kids and adults can get one for FREE (registration required, while supplies last). Come make safety part of the fun with bike decorating, a skills rodeo, and more awesome activities. Don’t miss out, sign up here: /bikecarnival2026 🚲
We loved seeing all the D91 siblings for National Siblings Day! 💙 It was so fun to celebrate the special bonds shared across our schools.
Did you know we even have siblings on staff? Ms. Bork from Betsy Ross and Ms. Whittington from Garfield are sisters! How cool is that?!
Thanks to all our families for sharing your photos and helping us celebrate such a special day! 👫
Today, District 91 recognizes World Autism Awareness Day. 💙
We celebrate the unique strengths, perspectives, and contributions of our students with autism who help make our schools stronger every day.
At D91, we are committed to creating inclusive, supportive environments where every student feels valued, understood, and empowered to succeed.
Let’s continue to learn, grow, and build a community that embraces and supports all learners.
Registration for the 2026–27 school year is now open in Infinite Campus! Early registration is encouraged- especially if your family needs transportation!
District 91 schools will be closed for Spring Break from March 30–April 3. We hope all of our students and families enjoy a safe, relaxing, and fun-filled break! ☀️
