Sometimes called a lotus fold 🪷 also known as an exploding book. I like how it echoes the subject of trees, leaves and flowers, something in motion 🍂
Halfway between a booklet and a fidget toy, it sits in lots of different ways like a paper sculpture you can play with.

🧨❣️Love & Light fundraiser prints❣️🧨
As we turn to the darkest part of the year I have some light-filled prints to share 🌚✨
Without the darkness of winter we can’t have spring, so as the days grow shorter I needed a reminder of this. I have made a set of cherry blossom prints that capture the fleeting sakura season in London.
🌗For balance I have also made a set of complementary negative prints: showing the dark as part of the cycle, and holding its own beauty.
📐Archival quality prints in editions of 13 each, at 40 x 50cm which is an easy to frame size.
❤️I am donating 50% of proceeds to the charity @chooselove who are currently fundraising for people in Gaza and Sudan.

Shot around this time last year by the coast, it's about a mini adventure in the van, the jolt of cold water, the first touch of sun's rays, shaking the winter off, the serpent of the year waking from slumber, about how places shape us, & all we need to know can be read in the shimmering trails of snails🐍🌱

Working on a spring zine, these are the first two drafts playing with layout and different papers to get the feel of it right, something that gives you a sense of the original material but also the subjects I am subtly dancing around without saying out loud... 🤐
