From the moment you were born, we knew you were special. We remember you as a little five-year-old, already showing the heart of a protector. You’d look up with those serious eyes and say, “Let me carry it. I will carry it wherever you want me to take it, since I am your kindergarten.”
Little did we know how profoundly those words would foreshadow your life.
When our family was separated by incarceration, a weight far too heavy for a child was placed on your seven-year-old shoulders. You were asked to be the “man of the house,” and you did exactly what you promised as a toddler: you carried it. You carried that burden for your grandmother and your siblings without complaint. You never stopped stepping up, protecting, and leading.
Fox: Watching from afar, my heart ached for the childhood you were missing, but it swelled with pride at the man you were becoming.
Rob: Being home with you for these last seven years has been my greatest gift. I’ve witnessed the integrity, loyalty, and strength that defined you even as that little boy offering to carry the load.
That title, “man of the house,” is one you wore with a grace far beyond your years. You held us together until we could all be together again.
Now, the greatest joy of our lives is watching you build your own family. We have no doubt you will “SHOW-UP” for them with the same unwavering love and dedication you have always shown this family.
We are so proud of the doctor, the soon-to-be husband and father, and most of all, the man you are.
Happy Birthday, Son. We love you more than words can say. May all your @bayoubraces dreams come true.

Sharing @robfoxrich ’s latest work from @see_saic entitled:
I must say, as his mother I found it to be so provocative. What do you think? Find his description below. Simply powerful.
Stuntin’ Like My Daddy (2026)
A Blue Black Boy Production
What would it mean to imagine an idyllic space for the Black body?
A space where the beautifully blue black boy is allowed tenderness, rest, and time.
A space where the blue black father is given permanence, intimacy.
Stuntin’ Like My Daddy seeks to imagine that space as archive, as a much deserved history, created for the generations to come to know. A meditation on Blackness beyond survival, Black fatherhood as continuity, as echo, as style passed down or as New Orleans legend Lil Wayne said best,
“I be Stuntin’ like my daddy.”
If you think I’m a fighter, you should meet my mother.
At 16, she was arrested for marching for voting rights.
Then spent a lifetime in the classroom making sure we knew why that march mattered.
As leader of our church youth department, she taught us that worship without service is empty.
When the school board got it wrong, she stood up — as a teacher AND a mother — and made them listen.
When German authorities threatened her family, she didn’t back down.
And when the entire state of Louisiana came for me — she didn’t flinch.
The strength and resilience you saw in @timemovie was hers first.
Mama — Peggy Autrey — everything I know about fighting, I learned watching you.
Every door I’ve kicked open, you opened one before me.
Every prayer that carried me, you prayed before I knew the words.
Happy Mother’s Day to the original.
I love you. I honor you. I am because you are. 🤍

🎶 still the one…
Twenty-nine years ago today we made a choice to become one.
Some folks said it wouldn’t last. The odds said no. The system said no. Life said no more times than we care to count.
But love said stay.
And we stayed. 🤍
Twenty-one years of forced separation tried to write a different ending for us. But you can’t rewrite what God already authored. We came back to each other the same way we started — whole, together, and still the one.
Twenty-nine years isn’t luck. It’s love that decided to be a verb every single day.
Come toast with us today:
Haus of Fox and Rob 🥂

New Orleans
11am–until the cops come knocking 😂 Y’all come love on us — we”d love to see your face on our special day. ❤️✊🏿🙏🏿
29 years down. Forever to go.

What if it all works out? 🧡
In 1997, we were two kids in Shreveport who bet everything on a dream. We called it Culture — the city’s original urban clothing store. Paint on our clothes. Sawdust in our hair. Love in our pockets.
Later that year, we traded our names for numbers. Inmate 387410. Inmate 387413. That’s how far we went chasing the dream. And still — the dream didn’t die with us.
It just went quiet. It waited. It studied. It refused to be denied.
Almost 30 years later, we opened the doors again — this time in New Orleans. Haus of Fox + Rob. A vintage novelty house. A love letter to every version of ourselves that kept going.
This weekend, surrounded by family and friends, we relaunched it all. So we asked ourselves one more time — What if it all works out?
It is.
Swipe through. Then share this with somebody who needs to keep going.
📍 Now open in New Orleans 🗝️

Jacksonville—didn’t know what hit ’em.
I had the absolute honor of delivering the opening keynote address last week at the 6th @nrc__conference — and let me tell you, this conference is unlike any other. The energy, the people, the PURPOSE in that room? Unmatched.
Now… @robrich365 wasn’t feeling his best. But after 21 years apart? You seldom catch us without the other. So of course he showed up — because that’s what love does. 🖤
And I didn’t come alone in spirit either — I brought a little taste of New Orleans with me. Shoutout to the legendary @irvinmayfieldjr for bringing that NOLA magic to Jacksonville. 🎺✨
To the conference organizers — THANK YOU. You built something sacred here. A space where returning citizens are seen, heard, and celebrated. That matters more than words can say.
Now — if your organization, your church, your conference, your movement is ready for a speaker who will shake the room and shift the atmosphere —
There’s only one thing left to say…

“Like kings and queens”
Thank you, @foxandrob for being who you are. Thank you for always showing up and giving your time with such vulnerability and strength and above all else, love. You are heroes and revolutionaries and funny as hell. It was an honor to witness all the people who stood and told you that you had changed their life that night.
Thank you to Garrett Bradley for making such a beautiful film.
Thank you to the sound and tech team at Huntsville (first picture features some members) who make the event seamless and make Cool Hand Series look good.
Thank you to Warden Strong for leading with “you matter” to everyone who walked through that door.
As always, and most importantly, thank you to all the men who came to the screening with questions, heart, and humanity. It’s a privilege.
@timetwomovie is next!
Oh, and thanks to our bat friend for keeping us on our toes (last picture). 🦇
