The man involved in the 2023 mass shooting at Morgan State University was convicted Friday and faces up to 259 years of incarceration, according to the Baltimore City state’s attorney’s office.
Marquis Brown, 20, of Washington, D.C., was found guilty of five counts of attempted second-degree murder and related offenses for the mass shooting that left five people injured during the university’s homecoming festivities in 2023.
