It’s only when you look back that you realize how far you’ve actually come. 🖤 From chaos to control. From broken to rebuilt. The journey hasn’t been easy but it’s been worth it. Currently in peak week again, preparing for my second show this Saturday. Going for my pro card this time. 🏆 Thank you all for the continued love and support. It means more than you know. ⚡️

In honor of the new Drake album tonight, here’s a throwback to 2012. 😂👋

I sent the picture on the left to Chris before my workout and genuinely asked him, “Does it even look like I work out?” His response was that my body dysmorphia is insane. And honestly… he’s probably right. Right now I’m bulking, which means I’m not as lean as I normally am. I’m holding more body fat, I don’t have the same sharpness, and because of that, the way I see myself becomes completely distorted sometimes. And that’s what this post is really about. We are our own harshest critics. The things you obsess over about yourself… most people don’t even notice. The pimple you think ruins your face. The stain on your shirt. The angle. The weight gain. The insecurity. Whatever it is. Most of the time, people see you far better than you see yourself. I’m not posting this fishing for compliments or for people to tell me I’m tripping. I’m posting it because I know a lot of you probably speak to yourselves in a way you would NEVER speak to somebody else. Give yourself some grace. Encourage yourself the same way you encourage others. And stop letting your own perspective convince you you’re not doing better than you really are. 🤝
