Our @duarte_designs team loved bringing JOY and color to the @fourthwardclt neighborhood 🎨 Our inspiration and intention was to evoke a sense of wonder, peace and awe while welcoming visitors to the space, inviting them to slow down as they gain a new perspective to see endless positive possibilities for the future ahead of them with each new sunrise / sunset 🌅 Over the course of the week, bringing this mural to life, meeting the community (and their puppies!) became the heart of the experience. Visitors who stopped by early in the day saw a sunrise; those who came later swore it was a sunset. That’s the beauty of it. This piece can be whatever you need it to be, whatever feeling brings you joy. It’s yours to interpret, and we love that it meets everyone a little differently. The natural elements of wildflowers and animals are native to North Carolina, and are to remind us that it is our role in the present to preserve Mother Nature so we can have a prosperous future 🌿🌸🪶 We loved meeting everyone that stopped by today for the Secret Garden tour and look forward to meeting everyone tomorrow from 12-1pm ✨ AND if you want to experience the BEST hoagies in CLT, walk to the front side of this building to visit a true hidden gem in the Queen City 🥪 @subonehoagie kept us fueled and energized with their delicious sandwiches all throughout the week 😋 Vegan options available 🌱 Mural: Path to Peace Location: 417 W. 9th Street, Charlotte , NC Artists: @treazytreaz and @traveling_gypsy
