Way overdue for a date night, so I took the lead and surprised my hubby with a night out on the town ✨
We started with our little photo ops (because yes, we’re getting in the pictures too 📸), then headed to one of our favorites, The Capital Grille, for drinks and the most delicious meal. After that, we made our way to @fourdayweekendcomedy Club for drinks and nonstop laughs.
Now let me tell you… the entire way there he kept saying, “You know we’re going to be the first ones they pick on.” We sat second row. He was not lying 😅 We were the highlight of the show for the first 15 minutes — but honestly, we laughed harder at ourselves than anyone else. We even got a photo op and met all the comedians afterward.
It’s the little things that matter. The man doesn’t always have to take the lead. Mark loved that I was intentional, got the kids settled, and planned the whole evening just for us. I love doing life with my best friend. Time well spent. Memories made. ❤️
