Pittsburgh and John on #35mm
The first and third pictures were taken at roughly 5am. The night before there had been no snow, so getting up to take Dori (JJ’s Dog) out was easy. However, this time I had gotten up to take her out, it was snowing like I hadn’t seen in a while. Big snow flakes coming down, with a solid 3-4 inches already on the ground. Crazy to me that it our surroundings could change in a span of a couple of hours. I guess that one of the joys of being alive…you never know what’s going to happen next.
The second photo is of JJ after we had done the drive from Pittsburgh to New Jersey. I think that was 8 of the longest hours of our lives.
I am thankful for everything I experience.
A collection of friends on #35mm , Pt1.
I find myself overthinking what photos I want to share on here most of the time. Something I keep coming back to are the photos I have taken of my friends in random moments… reading a book, dancing, doing things they love. Simple reminders that the joy of being alive comes from the moments you least expect. I am thankful for everyone I have ever met.
Oh, and a picture of me at the end….
NYC at night on #35mm
Last month John and I went on a last minute trip to Pittsburgh for his dog. Long story short, life did what it does and we ended up having to make our way to New Jersey. We decided to spend one of our last nights of the trip in New York City since it was so close. Anyway, thanks for reading!
